Dr. and Mrs. William M. Griffin
Dedicated Foundation Donors for 30-plus Years
Dr. William M. Griffin and his wife Antoinette have been generous donors to the Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation since its founding. Their personal support mirrors his 30-plus years of dedication to MTMC patients.
Dr. Griffin joined the staff as Radiologist in February of 1989 and led the department’s technological advancement with state-of-the-art imaging modalities. He was Medical Chief of Staff multiple times, the last time from 2011 to 2014. He served many years on the Dignity Health Mark Twain Medical Center Corporate Board, and as chairman its last five years. He was named an honorary member by that board upon his retirement in 2017.
In 2019, the Diagnostic Imaging Center at MTMC was named in his honor. He now serves as the hospital’s Physician Relations Executive. His leadership helped guide development of the James Dalton Medical Office in Angels Camp, where the Griffins generously sponsored the Diagnostic Imaging suite.
Dr. Griffin notes, “After 55 years in radiology – 30 of them here at Mark Twain – it’s very gratifying to be able to continue supporting the hospital and its clinics through the Foundation’s fundraising opportunities.”
