John B. Blazin

John B. Blazin was one of the founders and president of the original Mark Twain Hospital Foundation. He was yardmaster for Southern Pacific Railroad for 40 years before he retired to Avery in 1980 with his wife Margaret. He was a generous supporter of the Foundation and left a gift upon his passing in 2001 which has supported numerous hospital projects through the years.  

The Foundation is recognizing John's gift by establishing the John B. Blazin Community Education Center in the James DaltonMedical Office in Angels Camp.
